Pesticides

http://ec.europa.eu/food/animal/liveanimals/bees/pesticides_en.htm

As laid down in Directive 91/414/EEC, the European Commission launched in 1992 the work programme on the Community-wide review process for all active ingredients used in plant protection products within the European Union. In this review process, each substance had to be evaluated as to whether it could be used safely regarding human health (operators, bystanders, consumers) and the environment (in particular groundwater and non target organisms, such as bees).

Bee health

http://ec.europa.eu/food/animal/liveanimals/bees/bee_health_en.htm

The EU bee population plays an important role in both pollination and the production of honey and other apiculture products within the Community. The EU has therefore laid down specific community rules to protect and maintain the health status of bees within the EU.

Beekeeping, honey production and wild bees

selle info aadress:
http://ec.europa.eu/food/animal/liveanimals/bees/index_en.htm

It is estimated that pollinators contribute at least 22 billion Euros each year to European agriculture, with 84% of crops needing insect pollination, and more than 80% of wild flowers require pollinators to reproduce. However, throughout Europe there a severe decline in the numbers of wild bees and other pollinators and managed honeybees have been reported, and this trend is expected to continue.

Otsin mentorit

Uus algus .

Mõtlesin juba mitu aastat , et võiks proovida paar taru töökoja katusele panna , sest aias enam ruumi nendele pole. Naispere on vallutanud suurema osa aiast lillepeenardega ja ka küttepuude tegu on aia sees.
Olin varem aastaid hobimesinik , ikka 4 - 5 taru ringis sai mesilasi peetud.
